- artist signature and edition markings to the lower region of both mats have been obscured by an additional layer of matting within each frame; light flecks of loose debris present between the print, matting, and covering of both frames; minor flakes and loss to paint of both frames scattered throughout; scratches, scuffs, and light accretions to both frames, likely due in part to artificial weathering and distress in order to produce a rustic aesthetic.
