Item Details
Created by a French prisoner held in England this box is constructed of staw and bone. Prisoners would spend their time crafting boxes and other trinkets out of found materials and sold at markets held weekly or even daily at the camps. This could be quite lucrative for the prisoners, for they were allowed to keep any money earned, enabling them to buy extra food and clothing or keep upon their release.
