A lot of ‘The Petit Trianon Versailles’ part III to contain measured drawings and photographs of the entire building by James A. Arnott and John Wilson, architects in Edinburgh. The folio was published by B.T. Batsford, London, 1908, written in English. The large folio comprises many measured drawings of the entire building, the interior, details of iron work, and some furniture. The Petit Trianon Versailles was originally built in 1762-1768 by order of Louis XV (originally for his mistress Madame de Pompadour) then given to his 19-year-old queen Marie Antoinette.

Condition

, to fair. The folio is quarter bound cloth boards with a tie at the right side opening. The spine has long ago been detached and missing. The pages are loose as issued and are in good condition with some toning and chipped edges but no foxing.
