A lot of ‘Drawings By C.D. Gibson’, published by R.H. Russell and Son, New York 1894. The folio sized book has beveled boards and an illustrated cover showing one of Gibson’s iconic early 20th century American beauties. The book then comprises 84 full page black and white drawings, each with brief descriptive text. Charles Dana Gibson (1867-1944), was an American artist renowned for his creation of the ‘Gibson Girl’, the ideal early 20th century American woman.
