This eight-coin set has 1, 5, 10, 25, and 50-cent coins with the coat of arms of Guyana to the obverse and various animals native to Guyana to the reverse. Also included is a five-dollar coin, which is 50% silver, and bears the likeness of Hubert Critchlow, founder of the modern Trade Union movement in Guyana. The ten-dollar coin is .925 sterling silver and bears the likeness of ‘Cuffy,’ who led an uprising of slaves against Dutch colonizers in 1763. The coins are uncirculated, encapsulated, and presented in their display box from the Franklin Mint with informational card and letter of authenticity.
