Pittsburgh native, Stephen Hankin is a realist painter who received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute. He has maintained a forty-year teaching career and held positions at Bronx Community College, Allegheny Community College, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, and the University of Pittsburgh. Hankin is a member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and for the past twenty years, he has maintained the Stephen Hankin Art Studio and Gallery in Point Breeze, Pittsburgh, PA. His work is collected regionally and nationally.
