Mount Rushmore 50th Anniversary Two-Coin Proof Set with Gatlinburg Medals. This lot contains a commemorative 1991-S Mount Rushmore proof silver dollar and a 1991-S Mount Rushmore proof clad half dollar. Both coins have Mount Rushmore to the obverse. The dollar coin has the Great Seal above a map of the United States to the reverse and the half dollar a left-facing American buffalo ringed by fifty stars. Also included are two bronze medals celebrating Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and the Great Smokey Mountain National Park. Metal Content: 90% silver, 10% copper (silver dollar). Diameter: 38.10 mm (silver dollar). Weight: 26.73 grams (silver dollar).
