After graduating from the University of Oregon, Sander moved to Montana where he is now a well-known regional painter. A member of the Society of Animal Artists as well as the Northwest Rendezvous Group, Sander’s work hangs in the permanent collections of the C. M. Russell Museum in Great Falls, Montana, the American Wildlife Foundation, and the Cincinnati Museum of Natural Science.
