1925 Fort Vancouver Bicentennial Silver Half Dollar. This coin features a left facing John McLoughlin to the obverse and buckskin clad frontiersman with rifle in front of Fort Vancouver to the reverse. The words, ‘Hudson Bay Colony’ appear below the figure. Designer: Laura Gardin Fraser. Mintage: 14,966. Metal content: 90% silver, 10% copper. Diameter: 30.6 mm. Weight: approximately 12.5 grams. Coin appears lightly circulated and shows evidence of an older cleaning.
