Twenty-One 1953 $5 Legal Tender Notes and $5 Silver Certificates. This lot consists of ten red seal $5 Legal Tender banknotes and eleven blue seal $5 silver certificate banknotes. All the notes feature a right facing Abraham Lincoln to the obverse and Lincoln memorial to the reverse. The Legal Tender notes have a red seal and serial numbers and the Silver Certificates have a blue seal and serial numbers. The notes are circulated with wear varying across the lot and measure 6 1/8″ × 2 5/8’ each.
