Both highly acclaimed and criticized, Neiman is internationally known for his bright, bold, semi-abstract Impressionistic depictions of sporting events, athletes, and prominent public figures. He studied art and painting at the Art Institute of Chicago, De Paul University, and the University of Illinois. He was an instructor at the Art Institute of Chicago for ten years. His works are represented in the permanent collections of numerous prestigious institutions, including the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.; the Print Club of Albany; Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art; University of Wyoming Art Museum; The National Art Museum of Sport, Inc.; Tucson Museum of Art, and the Hermitage in Leningrad, among many others.

Condition

- minor buckling to artwork within the frame; toning; light discoloration and possible water damage to the lower left and lower right corners of matting; negligible accretions and loose debris present between print, matting, and the covering of frame; small gaps at the corners between the bars of frame; significant peeling, tearing, and loss to the synthetic veneer of frame; minor abrasions, scratches, scuffing, and accretions to frame.
