A watercolor by Ruiz. Bright watercolors were used to create this scene of a small village with cobblestone streets. The houses are painted with burnt sienna colored slated rooftops with white or green exterior walls. Two church steeples can be seen in the background. The artist name is on the lower right-hand corner, ‘Ruiz’. This could be known Puerto Rican artist Carlos Jose Ruiz. The watercolor is attached to white paper. The frame is wood with a thin gold keyline on the inside.

Condition

- the wood framed is nicked and coming apart but the artwork is very good
