Condition

- painting shows signs under UV light and to the verso of the canvas of scattered areas of light inpainting repair and possible water damage; spots of minor flaking to paint beneath the varnish scattered throughout, but more heavily towards the edges of the lower region of the painting; accretions, scratching, scuffing, light discoloration, and craquelure to paint and varnish surfaces; minor indentations to canvas along the lines where the painting presses against the interior borders of the stretchers.
