Condition

- area of flaking to paint and peeling to board at the lower left edge of the painting; light craquelure, scratching, scuffing, and accretions to paint and veneer; significant cracking, chipping, and loss to gold-toned gesso accents and veneer of frame, most heavily along the left side; several segments of the foliate-pattern accents of the frame appear to have been broken off and reattached with adhesive in the past; discoloration, accretions, minor abrasions, scratching, and scuffing to frame.
