German Hochst Porcelain Figurine, from the Estate of Leonard Bernstein

A German Hochst hand-painted porcelain figurine. The figurine depicts a young many dressed in Ottoman attire playing the English horn [sic] and posed on a grassy circular base. The figurine was purchased by William Winstead from the estate of renowned American conductor, composer, and pianist, Leonard Bernstein (American, 1918 – 1990). Includes Sotheby’s Reference Copy with cataloged figurine on page 70.
