Wonderful Floral-Carved Dark Cherry Hall Tree

Item Details

A wonderful Victorian floral-carved dark cherry hall tree. The rectangular beveled mirror is topped with elaborate crown topped with a four-petal flower in a circle on a bracketed base, flanked to each side with an urn finial. An openwork rail with small turned spindles topped with arches, along with a pair of elongated arched openings add architectural presence to the piece. The highlight, though, of this commanding hall tree is the sublime floral-carved frieze below the mirror. A storage cabinet with single-door storage and single drawer accommodates gloves, boots and hats, while turned column enclosure adds a welcome home for wet umbrellas.
