- low pile wear and loss with exposed knot collars and visible foundations scattered throughout; some exposed foundation has been colored to mask loss; abrash, crocking, uneven fade, and light discoloration to pile; matted pile, buckling, and creases to rug from folded storage; broken yarns and snags to selvedge binding; distortion to form with variation in width and depth; seam repair across width of rug near one end.
