- low pile wear and loss with exposed knot collars and visible foundation scattered throughout; abrash, dye bleed, and uneven fade to pile; matted pile, buckling, and minor creases to rug from folded storage; broken yarns and snags to selvedge binding; dye bleed to fringe; distortion to form with variation in width and depth; fraying to kilim weave at one end; supportive stitching along the fringe end without kilim to prevent loss.
