- low pile wear and loss with exposed knot collars and visible foundation scattered throughout; abrash, dye bleed, uneven fade, and discoloration to pile; crushed pile, buckling, and creases to rug from folded storage; tears in selvedge and loss of most of selvedge binding along one side; broken yarns and snags to remaining selvedge binding; discoloration to fringe; distortion to form with variation in width and depth.
