- low pile wear with exposed knot collars across surface and loss with areas indicative of insect damage; abrash, dye bleed, uneven fade, and discoloration to pile; matted pile, buckling, and creases to rug from folded storage; visible warp knots scattered throughout pile; areas of visible foundation colored red to mask loss along edges; broken yarns and snags to selvedge binding; dye bleed and variation in length of fringe; distortion to form with variation in width and depth; re-woven repair to kilim skirt at one end.
