Almarza is a Chilean artist and fine art teacher based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2005, he received a Communication Design degree from Carnegie Mellon and minored in fine art and photography. Although Almarza was trained in conventional art methods, he favors experimental and invented media. In 2009, he organized and directed the Pittsburgh Visionary Arts Festival. Almarza has exhibited nationally.
