- adhesive residue and areas of stiff pile scattered throughout; low pile wear and loss with exposed knot collars, visible foundation, and threadbare areas scattered throughout; some loss indicative of insect damage; abrash, dye bleed, uneven fade, and discoloration to pile, foundation, and fringe throughout; buckling and creases to rug from folded storage; broken yarns and snags to selvedge binding; selvedges appear to have been re-bound; distortion to form with variation in width and depth; some re-woven and re-piled repairs noted in borders.
