- low pile wear and loss with exposed knot collars and visible foundation across surface; abrash, dye bleed, uneven fade, and discoloration to pile; matted pile, buckling, and creases to rug from folded storage; broken yarns, gaps, and snags to selvedge binding; selvedges appear to have been re-bound; fraying to weave with some loss at both ends; stitching to prevent further loss along fringes is loose in some places; discoloration and variation in length of fringe; distortion to form with variation in width and depth.
