- rug shows signs of repairs, with rewoven and possibly patched pile within the central field pattern towards one end and rebound selvedge along one side; low pile wear and loss with exposed knot collars, visible foundations, and warp knots scattered throughout; abrash, dye bleed, uneven fade, and light discoloration to pile; matted pile, minor creases, and buckling to rug from folded storage; broken yarns and snags to selvedge binding; light dye bleed and discoloration to fringe; distortion to form with variation in width and depth.
