- brownish stains and discoloration to pile within the central field pattern towards one end, possibly from animal residue; low pile wear and loss with exposed knot collars, visible foundations, and warp knots scattered throughout, more heavily towards one end; abrash, discoloration, crocking, and uneven fade to pile; matted pile, buckling, and minor creases to rug from folded storage; broken yarns and snags to selvedge binding; fraying to weave at one end; discoloration to fringe; distortion to form with variation in width and depth.
