John Widdicomb Burled Walnut Executive Campaign Desk

A grand John Widdicomb executive campaign desk crafted in burl walnut veneer. The desk with its magisterial presence featuring a flat rectangular top writing surface, ten drawers boasting burl walnut veneer, beaded molding and squared recessed brass handles with finger escutcheons. A generous center drawer with wooden pen tray insert and brass keyhole escutcheon (key is present). Three graduating drawers flank the center drawer on each side, the bottom drawer is very deep and boasts a metal structures for files but on the exterior looks as though it were two drawers having beaded molding dividing the center and two brass handles for aesthetics. The sides are smooth and the back boasts a center drawer flanked by two decorative beaded panels. Included is a swivel desk chair on casters which features a brown vinyl tufted back, woven brown fabric cover to the seat and brass tack trim.
Condition
- the front bottom right drawer has knicks but the piece is very good otherwise.
