Ancient Greek Lucania Silver Nomos of Metaponta, 330–280 BC. Obverse: Head of Demeter facing right. Reverse: ‘META’ with vertical ear of mature barley. Metal Content: silver. Diameter: approx. 22.5mm. Weight: approx. 7.8 grams. Coin appears lightly circulated and is lightly toned.
