- missing key to lock; dust accumulation; exterior leather aging and wear, including dehydration and soiling; grip wear to handles; areas of denting to the lid; rubbing and loss of leather, especially along the edges and at the corners; finish loss and tarnishing to hardware; lidded interior compartments with dehydration to leather straps and verdigris to snap fastenings; coated canvas lining in main compartment is partially detached from glue deterioration; coated canvas at the interior base with soiling, residue and debris accumulation.
