- tears in canvas at the upper left of painting; artwork shows signs of repairs under UV light as well as to the verso, including patches and relining of tears in the canvas towards the upper-left and upper-right regions and areas of inpainting scattered throughout; significant flaking, craquelure, scuffing, discoloration, and accretions to paint; stains and water damage to the verso of canvas and stretchers; minor thinning and wear to canvas along the edges of the painting.
