San Francisco-based photographer and artist Todd Hido has photographed a variety of subjects including urban and suburban housing earlier in his career, female nudes in interior scenes, rural landscapes, and environmental subjects. He received his B.F.A. from Tufts University and his M.F.A. from California College of Arts and Crafts. Throughout his career Hido has produced seventeen publications, and his work has been featured in multiple magazines and publications, such as Artforum, The New York Times Magazine, Eyemazing, Wired, Elephant, FOAM, and Vanity Fair. In addition, his photographs have been exhibited and collected by numerous prestigious institutions, including the Whitney Museum of American Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Getty Museum, the Guggenheim Museum, and the Los Angeles County Museum of Art among others.
