- loss to pile with exposed knot collars and foundation scattered throughout, and some threadbare areas; discoloration, dye bleed, abrash, and uneven fade to pile; light fade and color shift is most significant at ends of rug; matted pile, buckling, and minor creases to rug from folded storage; selvedges appear to have been re-bound; broken yarns and snags to selvedge binding; discoloration to fringe; distortion to form with variation in width and depth.
