Influenced by German Expressionism and graffiti elements, Keil is known for his simplified abstractions of traditional art subjects. As Keil abandoned realism and developed his signature style, he used more vibrant colors rapidly applied with large gestural brushstrokes resembling the abstract style of Picasso.
