- metal tag attached at one corner; scattered spots of brownish stains, discoloration, and stiff pile, possibly from animal residue; soiling and loose debris present; lost and threadbare pile with exposed weft and foundation throughout; discoloration, abrash, dye bleed, and uneven fade to pile; matted pile, minor creases, and buckling to rug from folded storage; other crushed and thinned pile wear with exposed knot collars and warp knots scattered throughout; broken yarns, snags, and gaps to selvedge binding; fraying to weave at both ends; discoloration and variation in length of fringe; distortion to form with variation in width and depth.
