- rug has been repaired with a rectangular patch sewn along one side; lost and threadbare pile with exposed weft and foundations scattered throughout, but most heavily within the central field pattern; dye bleed, discoloration, and uneven fade to pile; other crushed and thinned pile wear with exposed knot collars and warp knots scattered throughout; broken yarns, snags, and loss to selvedge binding; dye bleed to fringe; distortion to form with variation in width and depth.
