- lost and threadbare pile with exposed weft and foundations scattered throughout, but most heavily within the central field and the border patterns along one side; abrash, crocking, uneven fade, and light discoloration to pile; matted pile, buckling, and creases to rug from folded storage; other crushed and thinned pile wear with exposed knot collars and warp knots scattered throughout; tears and loss of selvedge along one side; significant broken yarns, snags, and gaps to selvedge binding; gaps in fringe and fraying to weave at one end; light dye bleed, discoloration, and variation in length of fringe; distortion to form with variation in width and depth.
