- lost and threadbare pile, some indicative of insect damage, with exposed knot collars and foundation scattered throughout, but most heavily within the central field; discoloration, abrash, discoloration, and uneven fade to pile; matted pile, minor creases, and buckling to rug from folded storage; broken yarns and snags to selvedge binding; discoloration and variation in length of fringe; distortion to form with variation in width and depth; repairs including a portion at one ends re-piled with replaced warp yarns visible in fringe.
