1915 Republic of Cuba Silver 1 Peso. This coin features Cuba’s coat of arms with the country name as a curved legend to the top and the face value to the bottom on the obverse and a five-pointed star with rays and the motto ‘Fatherland and Freedom’ to the reverse. Metal Content: 90% silver, 10% copper. Designer: Charles Edward Barber. Diameter: 38 mm. Weight: approx. 26.73 grams. Coin has been circulated with light to moderate wear and nicks to the rim.
