Marc A. Graison is known for his impressionist style plein air California and New Mexico landscapes in a distinct color palette. He studied at the California Art Institute, University of Chicago, the Scottsdale Artists School, attended night classes at the Art Institute of Chicago, and was influenced by early California artists particularly William Wendt. He is a member of the Oil Painters of America, the Plein Air Painters of New Mexico, the California Art Club, and a founding member of the Rio Grande Art Association, New Mexico.
