- surface and glaze irregularities; hairline crack from rim down body of the bowl; chips to rim; wear to enamel and gilding; cracks and losses in enamel including on woman’s yellow skirt on one side; loss or fading of enamel used for facial features and details on the ship’s sails and rigging; chips and wear to base; potential flaking to clear coating added later.
