Pittsburgh native, Stephen Hankin is a realist painter who received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute. He has maintained a forty year teaching career and held positions at Bronx Community College, Allegheny Community College, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, and the University of Pittsburgh. Hankin is a member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and for the past twenty years, he has maintained the Stephen Hankin Art Studio and Gallery in Point Breeze, Pittsburgh, PA. - light craquelure, scuffing, and accretions to paint; spots of minor flaking to paint towards the upper right and lower left edges of the painting; slight buckling and looseness to canvas at the upper left and lower right corners of painting; tiny gaps at the corners between the bars of frame; light scratching, scuffing, discoloration, and flecks of debris to frame.
