1940 Cincinnati Reds Signed Baseball
Item Details
This baseball was consigned by a prominent family with deep roots in Cincinnati history. Don J. Meeks was a famous radio personality on the airways during the 1960s on radio station 1450 AM WMOH. Don’s father, Charlie Meeks was the founder and president of his trucking company titled “Here Comes Meeks”. Charlie purchased box seats behind the Cincinnati Reds dugout at historic Crosley Field supporting his business friend Powell Crosley Jr.
