Pittsburgh native,Stephen Hankin is a realist painter who received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute. He has maintained a forty year teaching career and held positions at Bronx Community College, Allegheny Community College, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Wisconsin Stevens Point and the University of Pittsburgh. Hankin is a member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and for the past twenty years he has maintained the Stephen Hankin Art Studio and Gallery in Point Breeze, Pittsburgh, PA.
