Condition

- significant cracking, chipping, and loss to the form of the sculpture, including loss of the head, arms, and feet of the Buddha figure, and exposing the core material below the bronze sculpture; the artwork shows clear signs of repair work to the split cracks in the bronze, with visible white adhesive residue, discoloration, and accretions throughout; further discoloration to bronze including blue patination, oxidation, and accretions throughout; significant abrasions, scratches, scuffing, and chipping to bronze leaving rough surfaces and jagged edges throughout; light scratches and flecks of debris to the composite base.
