Born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1943, Bruce McCombs is an artist, printmaker, and educator based in Holland, Michigan, where he taught at Hope College for five decades. He is a graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Art and Tulane University. McCombs’s artwork has been extensively exhibited across the country and internationally in Europe, Asia, and South America, and belongs in prestigious public and private collections such as the Library of Congress in Washington D.C., the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and New York’s Whitney Museum.
