Cast Iron Elephant Bank, Vintage

Cast Iron, Hubley style, hand painted elephant bank, c 1930. This cute little guy has a gray painted body with gold-trimmed blue and red howdah and blanket, unmarked. When you lift the tail, a coin inserted in his trunk lifts up to insert it into the body.

Condition

his trunk doesn’t extend all the way to insert the coin, needs cleaning, some small markings on paint.
