- canvas has been relined; wax lining to the verso; torn upper left corner of original canvas; half-inch hole to upper left of canvas; slight billow to canvas; dust and accretions present to canvas and frame; small areas of inpainting present throughout image, concentrating on figures and upper left of image; craquelure present throughout painting; stretcher frame creasing present on canvas; scratching and abrasions present to outer margins of image; wear to edges of frame; losses of finish to interior pieces of frame and corners; frame pulling apart at corners; canvas slightly loose in frame.
