Dave Klug grew up in rural Pennsylvania, where he enjoyed the time alone to create his artworks and explore the forest and farmlands of his home. He studied at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and apprenticed under the guidance of magical realist artist Henry Koerer (1915 – 1991). Klug’s illustrations have captured a wide audience with commissions from CNN, NBC, Time, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Highlights, Reader’s Digest, and many more. In 2019, Dave Klug and his wife bought the St. Joseph German Catholic Church rectory in Carnegie, Pennsylvania to be used as a gallery and studio space for traveling artists and the community. - slight curling to paper from unflattened storage; five holes have been punched in the paper along the upper edge, presumably by the artist; light scuffing and flecks of debris to print and paper; minor creasing and wear to paper along the edges of the sheet.
