- scratching, minor scuffing, and debris to paint and board, most visibly towards the central region of the painting; smudging, fading, and wear to metal and inscription of nameplate; abrasions, discoloration, accretions, light scratching, and scuffing to frame; tearing and separation of paper backing to the verso of frame.
