Condition
- metal tag attached at one corner of the rug; significant pile loss, dye corrosion, and indications of insect damage, with threadbare pile and near-complete loss in the lower corner spandrels; color fade, abrash, and bleed to the dye of pile; crushed, matted, visibly thin pile throughout, exposing knot collars and foundation; spots of loss to the selvedge binding along one side of the rug, with small areas of repair; snags to the binding of both the selvedges; light discoloration and variation in the length of fringe; distortion and slight buckling to form, with variations in width and depth; green painted “92” to verso.
