- abrash, dye bleed, and uneven fade to pile; thinned and uneven loss to the pile, exposing knot collars and numerous discolored warp knots, most significantly throughout the central field pattern of the rug; broken yarns and snags to the selvedge bindings; selvedges appear to have been re-bound; light discoloration and variation in length of fringe; distortion with slight bow and buckling to form, with variations in width and depth.
